Workshop Facilities

Our workshops are held at our facility located in Northwest Calgary at the Bearspaw Historical School.
​
Workshop activities take place both within the school house as well as the adjacent workshop space located immediately next door. Located on grounds is significant green space which is also utilized when weather permits. The facility is fully wheel chair accessible,, with barrier free washrooms as well as microwave, kitchenette and eating area.

Directions from Calgary:
Turn left at the junction of the 1A Highway and Bearspaw Road.
Directions from Cochrane:
Turn right at the junction of the 1A Highway and Bearspaw Road.

The school is on Bearspaw Road, about 1 km south of the 1A Highway.
There is a slight jog in the road, so you first proceed along Township Road 254A for about 100 metres and then turn right onto Bearspaw Road. The one room schoolhouse is across the street from the Bearspaw Lifestyle Centre and the new Bearspaw School.
