We offer emotional development programs for boys that build individual confidence, self-esteem and self-acceptance based on empathy, compassion, and emotional self-awareness. Parents can expect our programs to be fun, engaging, and adventurous while simultaneously providing tools, techniques, and strategies to bring alignment between the internal emotional experience and the safe expression of these emotions.
In addition to our boys workshops we offer parent workshops that provide parents the tools, techniques, and strategies to support boys as they learn how to understand, experience, and express their full range of emotions safely while developing the capacity to accept themselves and others.

Boys Workshop: Emotional Empowerment Workshop for Boys
Target Audience: Boys ages 8 to 18
Duration: 14.0 hours
Provided over two days, this program cumulatively builds the concepts of emotional development, self-awareness and safe expression, with emphasis on the individual experience. Participants take part in independent, group and role-playing exercises as they learn how to identify, experience, accept and express their emotions safely while developing the capacity to fully accept themselves and others. Each workshop comprises of participants of within a single age group (ages 8-12, 13- 15 or 16- 18) and consist of no more than 12 persons in any workshop.

Parents Group: Post Workshop Parent Support Group
Target Audience: Parents of boys who have attended an i-am-heart workshop
Duration: 2.0 hours (monthly)
This post program group assists parents of boys who have attended the Emotional Empowerment Workshop for Boys. This parents group meets monthly with the purpose of supporting parents as they support their children apply skills presented in the boy’s workshop into the home and school life.

Parents Workshop: Building Emotional Empowerment in Boys
Target Audience: Parents of Boys
Duration: 8.0 hours
One-day workshop for parent to provide a deeper understanding of how stigmas and emotional coping processes can lead boys to suppress their authentic feelings. In this workshop parents learn how acceptance and emotional expression promote emotional self-awareness and why separating building emotional resiliency from managing unwanted behaviors hold key tools and strategies to better support emotional coping skills of boys.

Online Training: Building Emotional Empowerment in Boys
Target Audience: Parents, Educators, Community Workers and Administrators
Duration: 2.0 – 4.0 hours
Online self-paced training courses based on our Emotional Empowerment Program specifically for parents, educators, community workers and practitioners. Courses provide the tools, techniques, and strategies to support boys as they learn how to understand, experience, and express their full range of emotions safely while developing the capacity to accept themselves and others.
